There are a number of factors that can cause an oven element to blow. Damage due to the expansion and contraction of the element coils caused by the element constantly heating up and cooling down is a very common cause. While other causes of element failure can include overheating as a result of a failed thermostat or in some cases a build-up of grease causing the fan motor to run slowly.

If you do not have a fully working Grill Oven Element, the ovens cavity will not heat up – therefore not being able to cook your food.
